The first thing you need to do is sort out what all your problems are. Then, one by one, you need to address them. You should really be under the care of a clinical psychologist or psychiatrist, not pumped full of meds by a family practice doctor or being left to your own devices.

If you haven't got access to any sort of mental health care try talking to anyone...a priest or chaplain, or perhaps a school guidance counselor who can help get you the right sort of help you need.

If I could leave you with one thing it's this...your life is going to change. As you get older your perspective will shift, you'll learn new things, and some of your experiences will change the way you look at life. It would be a shame to miss out on that opportunity because you feel that there is no way out other than to take your own life. Trust me, as bad as it may feel today, it won't stay this way forever. But for now, you need to take steps to help you heal. Please find someone who can help, it's worth every effort.

In my opinion you are brave, you are coming out of childhood without the support of a loving family.  This is an unlucky situation to be in, but the only way is to keep going and find support where you can,  Eventually you will find strength within yourself you just need to keep going through the bad feelings.

Don't do it I know it seems hard now but it gets easter take it from some one who has been their. When I was 17 I did the same thing and had the same thoughts but now I'm 23 and have 2 kids. So basically what I'm saying is life is worth living even when it doesn't seem like it.

Hey Midnight1234!
Gosh can I ever relate to you!!! You are a mirror image of me!!!
Midnight1234, please do me a favor... don't give up my friend!!!
Midnight1234, this will take a ton of courage, but begin to seek out someone
that you can talk to, as hard or as impossible as it may seem to
be for you, outside of your comfort space. Someone like iAmAnOldSoul
was talking about! A group or a therapist! That is what I am doing also!
Keep your guard up if you need to...I do!!! Trust is such an important thing,
especially when it comes to your thoughts and your feelings!
I told my therapist from the start that I did not trust her!!!
However, she earned my trust!!!! There are good people out there Midnight1234...
you can find them with help from others that are going through the
same things that you are!!! Please don't stop searching my friend!!!
You sound like a wonderful person, and this world needs more people like you!!!
Please keep in touch!!!... "Thanks!!!!"

I see where you are both coming from and I am going to look into it. I suffer from these depression, sucidal, self-harm, eating disorder, communication, OCD. Anyways. I can't take any meds because as I used pills to try ending my life before so they will be in arms length of me and that kindof scares me. If i'm really down like I am at minute then I wouldn't think twice about it, I would just do it as i'm not thinking straight. I'm trying to hold on as long as possible but I don't know how long I can for

I am also 17 years old and suicidal.  Or I was....but I can sit here now and say it is so not worth it to end your life.  You will die...your no doubt going to die sometime...so why not live while you can.  I am a very shy person...so i never really told my family or friends about my depression.  What really helps me is opening up to people I dont know so well.  I dont know why...maybe its cause i feel like they wont judge me.  Anyway...I encourage you to talk to a therapist.  They wont judge you, you dont have to see or interact with them in everyday life like you have to with friends and family...so its just easier to talk to them.  Are you on medication at all? If not, maybe you could look into it.  I am on Pristiq and it turned my life around.  Depression is often chemically based and some people NEED medicine to get better.  Therapy with meds is the best treatment cause meds lessens all the symptoms while therapy gets to the root of things and helps to build you up to be a stronger and happier person. I know it hurts.  Thats life.  If nothing else, its life.  Its real and sometimes it f*ckin *****...but its sort of all we have.  Keep fighting...you arent alone.

Don't. Don't do it. If you have insurance, you should look into some centers. I am in a center that goes from 8:30 to 2:30. I have a personal therapist, I group of people my age to support me, groups on subjects like coping skills and stress management, as well as 2 hours that replace school. It counts as "school" so no worries there. If not, go to your school, a trusted friend, or a trusted adult and tell them. Together, you can work out a plan. Meds also really help. I wish you the best of luck. And just don't do it. You are wonderful even if it's hard to accept that sometimes. You are here for I reason. Please don't give up hope. Love.
