withdrawn for almost a year !

female, 30years, has been totally withdrawn in her own world for almost a year now! she does not communicate with anyone, does not respond to doctor's treatment... does not show any emotion..simply stares into space..seem unaware of the world or anything around her...What can be wrong with her?

She should be an inpatient, really she needs to be admitted to a hospital.

What was she like 1 year ago, before this started?
What type of treatment has she received?

Hi, it seems like she is chronically depressed.  She needs meds.  One year is a long time to be like this.   Have you talked to your doctor about this?  If not, I sure would.  She needs a physologist to talk to.
