Hey

Listen, I'm sure you've heard all of the "don't kill yourself, there's so much to live for" clichés. So I'm going to give you a different viewpoint. It's so easy to think you just want to die. To imagine leaving this life behind. To think you don't wanna exist anymore. But the fact is, death isn't a snap of the fingers and then you're gone. It isn't pleasant. And simply imagining it is nowhere near enough to make you feel the real heaviness of it. If you truly felt close to death, felt how real it really is, trust me, dying is the last thing you would want to do. I have an immune system problem, so normal illnesses can make me unbelievably ill. I've felt what it's like to be in an emergency room hospital bed, feeling more dead than alive, in the worst pain of my life, thinking that it's all going to end there, wondering how I ever considered leaving all my friends behind so I could die.

These days I still sometimes find myself thinking I'd like to die. But it's because I'm thinking that same way as I used to, as if it's as easy as just switching off a light switch. But death is very real, and very tragic. There's not always a way to have a better life right away, but there is ALWAYS people more than willing to reach out to you and help you the best they can. Cherish it. Believe in the compassion of others.

OOPS...are we not aloud to post our email address? Well we can talk here if you need someone to talk to just thought you may want privacy but just know that someone out there will listen. Not just me either. There are a lot of caring people out there who would just be willing to lend an ear. Take care.

Hey there. It's not worth it. I have suicidal thoughts from time to time and I just tell myself it's not worth it. We only get one life why waste it? I have children and that helps me a lot. I think about how I want to see them graduate, I want to hold there babies and I want to grow old with my husband. That gets me through. Do you have children, are you married or in a serious relationship? There's got to be something or someone out there that you care deeply for. If your young, maybe your parents, a boyfriend, a best friend. Is there something you want to do with your life, a big dream something you can focus on that you want to happen or enjoy in your life. If you want to talk my email is ***@****. I'm not a psychologist or a therapist, just an average person who doesn't mind listening. While I don't mind lending an ear I think you really need to talk to a professional also. Do you currently have a therapist or a counselor? Feelings of suicide are not uncommon but if they are prominent enough for you to be considering it adamantly enough to come on here and seek advise, they are a big enough problem to seek some professional advise also (aka: therapist, psychiatrist, counselor, etc). Let me know if you want to talk. Take care and God Bless!

Do you have a close friend that you can talk to about how you feel? I wuold suggest seeking help especially if you think you might act out on your feelings. You should see a doctor. Do you struggle with depression as well?
