I have this big red side of my bikini area and it’s really painful.

Hello around a week ago I had this bump form on the left side of my bikini area. It’s hard, red, warm, and painful. At first it was around the size of a dime and as each day kept passing by it kept getting more swollen and red. It hurts when I walk and sit. I thought it would be an ingrown hair or a boil but I don’t see any puss. It’s just swollen and red and even touching it causes pain.

It's probably a little pocket of infection- the skin there can be pretty thick and you may not see any pus or anything- but you can go to a doctor and have them take a look.  From what I understand, they can sometimes lance things like this and they go away pretty quickly- it will also be important to keep the area clean to prevent further infection.
