Can someone identify my bites?

So I just woke up one morning and there was 3 bites on one leg and two on the other. I haven't changed laundry detergent. Everything had been washed the day before. The bites at first were like swollen mosquito bites with the middle of the bite having a tiny bump. The bites are very itchy but can be ignored. I have been rubbing coconut oil to relieve the urge to itch. It's been 3 days and the bites now are a dark red almost purple. They kinda look like little hickeys. At first we thought they might have been flea bites because we have two dogs but both dogs have been checked and are flea free.

I believe what you have are red ant bites.

To identify fire ant stings, look for groups of swollen red spots that develop a blister on the top. Stings hurt, itch, and last up to a week. Some people have a dangerous allergic reaction to stings and will need to seek immediate medical help.
