Sunday Weigh In - September 11, 2011

Today is the 10th anniversary of 9/11, so I hope everyone can set aside a few minutes to honor those who lost their lives on 9/1101.

We've come through another week and I hope everyone is doing well.  I've had a rough week, emotionally, but am doing okay - I think.

As for my weight, last week I was at 144.8, by Friday, I was down to 143.4, and today I'm at 143.0, so I'll claim a 1.8 lb loss.  I don't like that the loss is more stress related, than anything else, but I'll take it anyway.

Yesterday, I did get a chance to work in my gardens for a while, so that was some relaxation, and extra exercise.  Today, I have to get my  mowing done, so that will also be extra exercise, though more hard work, than relaxing.  With my mp3 player, hopefully, it will go pretty fast.

So - how about everyone else?  How are you doing on your journey?  Reaching your goal?  Having difficulty? Let's all get together and help each other out.

On that note, I've got to go get busy with my mowing before it gets too hot.

Wishing everyone a wonderful week.

My retirement countdown is now at 4 weeks.

Remember:  we win by losing.

I was out of town last weekend and couldn't weigh on my own scale.  I eat way wrong and don't walk quite as much when I'm out of town, but I ate smaller portions than I usually do when I visit these friends.  I also was adament that I was going to walk daily, which I did.

After my usual ups and downs in the weight department, I was up 1 pound from my last weigh in.  This past week was my first week back to work after the summer off.  I drive 4 school bus routes/day and the first week is always stressful - getting back into the swing and learning the routes.

I have re-set my goal for getting back to 140 lbs by October 9, which is 4 weeks from today.  I am going to have surgery on 10/11 so I want to be thin and in good physical condition.  I have a lot of work to do the next 4 weeks.

Went back on Jenny Craig and lost 3.8 pounds. So now I am 8 pounds left to goal. I have lost a total of 16 pounds since March.
Been fighting with my thyroid but I think my meds are right now. I have increased exercise this week but weight is the same.
