Weight gain

Just to give you a little history first, I have been diagnosed with auto immune disease.  I have about 5 different one ranging from sojerns to cronic hives and vasculoritist.  I have tried everything under the sun to lose weight and nothing is working and i seem to keep gaining wieght even if I change my eating habits to be much more healther.  I am questioning if I have Cushing Syndrome.  I will speak with my doctor about the possiblities.  But if I don't have Cushings then what is going on with me.  Why am I gaining weight and not able to lose any?

Forgot to mention that you need to make sure you eat the right types of food and make sure you watch your portions as well as exercise.

Do you have a thyroid disorder?  That could cause weight gain/inability to lose if you aren't being treated (or if being treated and your levels aren't optimized).  I'm not familiar with the others you mentioned and don't know what kind of meds you might be on that could cause weight gain/retention.
