Tell us how your dog is progressing

Hello everybody.     As you know I am new on this wonderful caring forum but one thing that I cannot understand ??
When someone asks for help and advice! rarely does that same person let us know the outcome of the problem with their dog! even though many members have have done their best to help. I think it would really great for everyone to know, also we reply because we care about an animal in pain and as we take the time to reply to you ,not to get any feedback is not very fair as we are left wondering how that dog is going.

So please if you ask for advice it would be great if you could take the time to let us know how your Dog is progressing, thank you so much( We do care you know)

                                             sincerely Seeana.

Don't lay awake at night worrying about other people's dogs.  You do your best to help.  We have to accept that we panic when our dog is ill.  I don't think people mean to upset you by not replying.  Just hope they sought help for their dogs.

Keep up the good work.  You can make a difference when people are in a state about their beloved pets.  Don't stop giving advice.  It is much appreciated.

I understand that, but there were a couple of posts that really worried me! and like you ginger I lay awake at night thinking how that dog was doing.
Maybe some of them cannot afford a vet and they come on here hoping for some advice.
They do not return ! what happens to these poor dogs.
The thing I cannot understand is hardly anyone returns, the percentage is so low..
I could not or would not do anything like that, and I am sure that the regulars on here would be the same.
Makes me wonder about human nature sometimes.GRRRRRRRRRR.
I know I know let it go #%!#!%#

I agree really. I let it go. But it is better if people can post back and let us know. Many is the time when I've laid awake at 3 in the morning, thinking about someone's dog...or about the person themself who posted when they were upset or very worried.

I think people do just 'drop in here' many times, there might be any reason for that. They get scared about their dog, they search online, they find us, they post a quick scared question....then they end up taking their dog to the vet (hopefully) because they didn't get a reply in like -three seconds....
And life intervenes, and they forget they posted here.....

Unfortunately Seeana, MH is plagued with this phenomenon.

People find a forum, ask their question(s), get an answer to their question(s), and are never heard from again.

Members like us, that frequent the message-boards, find the idea of not posting an update absurd, but the 'one hit wonders' that stumble on this site and don't ever come back, don't even give it a second thought.

I find myself wondering all the time, how some folks are doing that I've given advice to, or that I've had conversations with regarding this topic or that...

I wouldn't take it personally. It'll drive you batty if you do.
