I should add that while I think your boy will not have a
problem passing the bologna bands,IF at anytime you
notice he is getting lethargic( wanting to lay around, very
little activity) starts to throw up or refuses to eat or drink
normal IT IS TIME for a trip to your vet right away to get
him checked.
I don't know that an X-ray would work as they usually
pick up solid things (tumors, rocks, coins other objects)
I feel an ultra sound would show any of the unmoving
bologna bands and where they are.

OH BOY, our fur kids can really do some silly things.
I realize that the red bands around the bologna are
some kind of plastic,I'm not sure how many rounds of
bologna are in the package(?) but since the bands are
smooth, they should pass through intestines and the
stomach.
You'll need to keep a watch for his poo over the next
day or so,he should start to pass the bands in a day
or so and you will be able to see them in his poo and
it may take a couple of days to get them all out.
You might want to use a stick and seperate his poo
a bit and try to count the bands just to be sure all
have come out.
But since the bands a smooth,no points or rough
areas to cut or do dammage,I am thinking he should
be fine.
IF YOU STILL HAVE WORRIES(?) please call your
vet and ask them if you should be worried, you could
get an answer from your vet without taking him in.
( I could get an over the phone answer from mine)
