Poor girl. She is probably feeling nauseous, as the kidneys are finding it difficult to remove waste products from the blood.
Could you ask the vet about possibly prescribing her some anti-nausea drugs?
In the meantime, try to make sure she gets fluids. Syringing chicken broth (just the water in which chicken has cooked, or can use fish) might help. But this might not get enough fluids down her.
You could also ask the vet about administering fluids sub-cutaneously. It's ossible to learn how to do this yourself. The vet will show you how.

Thank you, to all of you. The vet has given me Cerenia for the nausea (to give her only when necessary) also Ranitidine Oral Solon, stimulates stomach acid secretion ranitidine blocks acid secretion in the stomach to provide a more favorable stomach pH. Hopefully get her eating. She has been eating a little, but very lethargic. She is quite bright in the morning and enjoying her walks though has slowed down. But tonight I am worried, I will ask the vet about Sub-Q fluids. Also check out the links.
I can't believe this is happening in such a short time she's normally such a bright, fiesty little girl!

I am so sorry to hear about your dog. Do you know what stage of the disease she is in..?  Are you doing Sub-Q fluids...?  If not, when you talk to your vet about the anti-nausea meds, you also need to talk about Sub-Q fluids. Fluids are essential when it comes to treating Kidney Disease.

There are Several other posts on this forum concerning Kidney Disease, and Karla has directed you to a couple of them. As she said, they are full of information...( though they do take time to read, they will prove helpful )
There are other current Forum Members, who have also posted questions about treating their dogs for kidney failure...please do not hesitate to read or reply to their posts.  There is nothing better than support from someone who is going through the same thing.

Please let us know how things go at the Vets. In the meantime, you could try to give your dog a Tums, Regular Strength...any flavor she likes. If she is feeling a little nauseous, it may help.
You can also try giving her Boiled, Steamed or Baked Sweet Potato, and currently there is a Forum Member who says her dog loves Watermelon.

I would also like to recommend, that you check out the Dogaware website.
www.Dogaware.com
In the health section of the Website, there is a Section Dedicated to Kidney Disease in Dogs. It is full of information, and also has a special section on Diet.

Take Care...I will be thinking of you both...Connie

Thank you, your comments have been extremely helpful, it makes sense that she's feeling nauseous. She is drinking a lot of water, she ate some mincemeat this afternoon. | am going to as my vet about anti-nausea medication.

I think your best bet is to have your dog placed in the care of the vet (hospitalization) for a few days to see if the specialized care they can provide will help.
