Hello....Karla is right, if the puppy is throwing up a lot it can cause dehydration and you don't want to mess around with that. You definitely want to see a vet as soon as you can, it can be something minor like a change in diet/food or something serious. Keep the puppy hydrated and watch what he eats, personally i'd start him on a bland diet as a precaution....good luck!!!
Hello Candy...Yes, there are many Human medications that can be given to dogs, but you need to have a diagnoses from your Vet, first....No, you don't want to wait this out.......
In such a young puppy, you don't want to guess......You don't say if this guy has had all his Puppy Vaccines.....If not, then this vomiting may be the beginning of a few diseases that can be fatal......Parvo is my greatest concern & unfortunately, it is quite common.....
Dehydration alone, from the vomiting can be very dangerous for a puppy......You must keep him hydrated until you can see his Vet......Children's Pedialyte from the grocery store is what you need.......You may have to syringe it in his mouth, but it is vital that you keep him hydrated! They make Pedialyte popsicles that can be chopped up in a bowl that he may eat on his own......Or you can make your own (In ice trays) out of the liquid in a bottle......He make like ice cubes....
Either way, make sure you see his Vet tomorrow......Puppies go downhill very quickly with vomiting and/or Diarrhea.....If this is Parvo, it can be fatal in just hours......
Good luck and let us know how he's doing........Karla
