Not to mention the diseases ticks can carry.  The house and yards will have to be treated.  I've seen dogs with tick infestations bathed and the water just ran off them blood red.  They can die of anemia in a short time.
I hope this person gets these dogs to the Vet and takes care of the source of the problem.

Oh My, poor dogs....I agree...You need to get these dogs to a Vet!

Why was this Tick problem allowed to get to this point?

Make an appointment to have both of these dogs dipped (A chemical to kill ticks), at your Vet tomorrow....The dipping will kill all the ticks at once....While your there, ask your Vet about monthly flea & tick products that he/she sells....You need to purchase these products (Used monthly) only from your Vet. These products will keep further infestations under control....The OTC ones are dangerous...

The life is being sucked out of these dogs by the ticks & this IMO is considered Neglect!

Ask your friends: "If they were covered with bugs, would they kill themselves?"

These dogs HAVE to be miserable and for that matter, so am I just reading about them!

Please, get them to a Vet tomorrow & take care of this...No matter how much it costs!  It is NOT fair to let them suffer this way!!!    Karla
