"Fizzy" Noise in Ear

Hi, last night I was laying in bed trying to get to sleep, when all of a sudden this "Fizzy" sounding noise starts in my ear, I think it's only the right one, but it's hard to tell, and ever since it won't go away, it's just constant. I can hear it the most when everything is quiet, and it's really weird and making me worry a bit.

Any help would be nice.

Do you use nasal irrigation devices? If you do, it can sometimes cause ear infections or leave water in your ear.

What helps me when I occasionally get this is use Auro Dri -Ear Water Drying Aid.

(I have had insomia/anxiety all my life, so I feel for you buddy)

Well, I went to my GP today, and she looked inside of my ear, and said it will probably go away within 2 weeks, but it's goign to be hard to wait that long :(

I'm having so much trouble sleeping, it can sometimes take me 3-4 hours to get some sleep. Are their any ways to sleep easier with Tinnitus?

hi, i have also experienced something similar to this.
i was asleep one night when i woke up to a fizzy sound...sounded like the sound of a t.v. when its not on program. well i went back to sleep but when i woke up it was gone and i havent heared it since. i do think it is caused by anxiety. however i think restlessness can cause it to.

goodluck hope you find the answer your looking for.

I should also note that I suffer from anxiety a lot too, don't know if that has anything to do with it.
