Did you ever find out what your issue was? Hubby has what im pretty sure is an acoustic neuroma. They did a MRI without dye and they say there is buildup of fluid. They want to do another CT.
i have had a mri scan and allthough im told my brain was ok they found a thickening on the vestibular nerve i am having another scan where they inject dye into you.
Any ideas what this can be
Brain MRI WITH contrast and focusing specifically on the inner-ear area. An MRI without contrast might show an acoustic neuroma, but I think that to rule out even a small acoustic neuroma, you need to have it done with contrast. (That is the "gold standard.")
