Single Ear ache but weird

Hi,
I am experiencing pain inside my right ear, when my outer ear is subjected to pressure (for example sleeping with that ear down on the pillow) or a pull or twist of any way. The pain I feel is extremely unbearable, and also sort of tingly, like you feel when you try to clean your ear with a ear-bud.

The pain is at a point around 6 cm (wild guess) inside the outer ear canal, and just out of reach. I do not know much about it, but it feels like a sore boil or something...
I do not feel pain unless pressure is applied or sometimes, while swallowing or similar cases, and sometimes I feel the pain throb along with my heart beat.
What could this be?

Any help is highly appreciated.

Hello and hope you are doing well.

The pain is most probably due to a pimple. You could apply warm compress and for pain relief you can use OTC  Tylenol (acetaminophen). The other causes could be due to fungal infections, otitis externa, mastoiditis or middle ear infection.  You may need to consult your primary care physician who will examine you and initiate appropriate therapy.

Hope this helped and do keep us posted.

Thank you for your response, I had lost link to this site, and couldn't reply sooner.
The ear ache was indeed, due to a pimple, as you said.
I tried a warm compress. It seems to have done the trick.
:)
Thank you very much!
