Digestive misery

Hi PLEASE HELP

I am a 24 year old female - in 2009 was very healthy, gym few times a week and very healthy diet then all of a sudden in Jan 2010 something in my body suddenly changed.
For the past 6 months I have suffered from indegstion, acid reflux, pain in the right side of my tum, a very sore tongue which appears to get red spots / marks on it, a hoarse voice, a change in my voice pitch, tum bloating, food repeating, I could go on.....

I have been to the GP a few times but he is not very good.  He refers me to hospital, I have been for a camera down and they said looked fine except for Gastrisis, they took samples for H Pylori which they have took weeks coming back with and not have said they lost.

I am currently taking Lansoprazole 15mg twice daily but now I worry about if this is OK?
I do not like taking drugs at all.

I am really sorry to go on but I am at my wits end and have even had thoughts if it is all worth it?
I feel so alone as the NHS dont seem to care at all.

PLEASE HELP xx

Yes they did by taking a blood sample - just getting me down and I going on holiday in a week and I nearly cancelled it as I feel sooo ill and the NHS do not care : (

I have taken myself off Lansoprazole twice a day and just take one in the morning - I have been taking this drug for about 5 months and dont know if these are giving me symptoms?

You mentioned your voice pitch changing - did they check your thyroid?  That's a common cause of hoarseness.

Give the gluten free diet a try!  Look it up on the internet.  It's a food intolerance.  It can cause your above symptoms.  Give it a few months.  If it's part of your problem, you'll probably feel relief in the first three to four weeks.  No two people are alike.  You'll need gluten free vitamins (Nature Made brand) and you'll need to make sure that any meds you are taking do not contain gluten.  So many people find relief with this diet.  Good luck!  Hope you find relief!
