thanks for responding....yea im just worried b/c i had a little bit of fluid in my ear last april and one doctor said i had labrynthisis?? or something but inever got spinning dizzniess and the other doctor said i didnt have it and then i went to an ENT and he said i could have never had it. soo idk but from then on i have been soo anxiou about getting dizzy and maybe thats what casuing it. i onyl got dizzy from bending my head over maybe liek 4 times in my whole life.. so maybe its not anything related to my ears? idk im still soo worried. but you def. dont think this is the start of something to come like years from now...like when im 30 or 40 or something? they usally say that menieres and like bvpp happens when you get older and stuff?
Meniere's comes in distinct attacks. What you are describing doesn't sound at all like Meniere's, nor a precursor to it.
Vertigo is not a disease--it is a SYMPTOM. Vertigo sounds like a scary word to people, but it just means dizziness (although vertigo is sometimes specified to be a sensation of the environment moving around you). The terminology doesn't matter.
If you have dizziness when bending your head, I suggest you talk to your doctor about it. But it is very likely nothing serious, and probably nothing that will get worse.
One common disorder that has to do with head position is BPPV--google that and you'll find lots of info. It is a BENIGN condition, meaning it won't hurt you.
One other thing that I'm GUESSING your doctor might want to check is your arteries if you get the symptom only when bending your head. They can listen to the neck arteries with their stethoscope to see if there is a potential problem. But please note that I'm not a medical professional and that's just a guess on my part.
Please don't worry... just ask your doctor, which should reassure you. Good luck!
really? you dont think that its like starting or something..what about vertigo?? im soo worried
I doubt that Meniere's is in your future.
