Meniere's comes in distinct attacks. What you are describing doesn't sound at all like Meniere's, nor a precursor to it.

Vertigo is not a disease--it is a SYMPTOM. Vertigo sounds like a scary word to people, but it just means dizziness (although vertigo is sometimes specified to be a sensation of the environment moving around you). The terminology doesn't matter.

If you have dizziness when bending your head, I suggest you talk to your doctor about it. But it is very likely nothing serious, and probably nothing that will get worse.

One common disorder that has to do with head position is BPPV--google that and you'll find lots of info. It is a BENIGN condition, meaning it won't hurt you.

One other thing that I'm GUESSING your doctor might want to check is your arteries if you get the symptom only when bending your head. They can listen to the neck arteries with their stethoscope to see if there is a potential problem. But please note that I'm not a medical professional and that's just a guess on my part.

Please don't worry... just ask your doctor, which should reassure you. Good luck!

I doubt that Meniere's is in your future.
