12 months of ear pressure and illness

Would appreciate any suggestions on what has become a real mystery illness. I first went to my local doctor almost a year ago after I'd been unwell for about 3 weeks. The symptoms included a feeling of pressure in my ears, a mior sore throat, and an overwhelming feeling of fatigue that was causing me to sleep for hours during the day. I was given a basaket of medicines to treat the symptoms and sent away. Over the course of the next few months I was regularly back at the same clinic as I simply wasn't getting better. I seemed to be stuck in a pattern where I might feel okay for a few weeks, then I'd be back sick again for a few weeks. Every time I went to the doctor they would take blood tests and would tell me about indicators for a virus. On occasions they would say I had a high red or white blood count. As time went past with no improvement I was referred to various specialists. This included ECG tests [as I was having random minor chest pains], ENT test, MRI, CTI and visits to neurologists and rheumatalogists. In all cases they told me they could see nothing unremarkable and I was left no closer to an explanation. Over this summer, I had s spell of around 4 weeks where I felt quite good. I thought I might be finally over it. Unfortunately that hasn't been the case. At the time of writing, I've had the worst spell since the symptoms began. I'm feeling so unwell that just getting out of bed is a real struggle. I have a horrible feeling of pressure in my ears. I can feel a popping or clearing effect very temporarily if I hold my nose and blow, but the feeling is now constant. My throat is raw and slightly sore, and I just generally feel miserable. I'm away from home at the moment and went to a doctor here [in the Philippines]. That wasn't very successful. he looked at my throat and prescribed anti-biotics. In the days that followed I felt worse than ever. This latest bout started with a bad stomach upset with stomach cramps and diarohea. I still have some stomach pain, muscle pain, and the other symptoms described above. I'm not sleeping well during the night and need to take 2-3 hour naps during the day. Trying to work is almost impossible. It feels to me that my body is fighting something of a glandular nature but I'm frustrated that no-one can tell me what it is or why it has been going on so long. Any ideas most gratefully appreciated.

I have Lymes. Diagnosed in August 22.  I have had an ear infection (soda bubbles, pain)  and headaches for 6 months. even after a 21 day doxycycline course. An ENT sent me off with nasal spray and antihistamines. That was 4 months ago. I had a lump on my head that hurt for months. All this on my left side. I also have a drooping eye.

It's now 6 years since I posted this. Curently sick with exactly the same symptoms I posted all those years ago. Just had 5 months of no health issues at all and now back to the same thing. Incredibly frustrating and no doctor seems able to offer any explanation. Only changes I can report is that sleeping is not really an issue but the tenderness around my throat is still there, as is the ear pressure/fullness and the overall feeling of inflammation and fatigue. There has to be an explanation?

hi.  you describe my life, as well.  i have been sick for over 2 years.  i research every day to learn all i can about parasites.  i thought i had every possible kinds in me.  i have 16,000 photos of things on, in and out of my body.

i just learned recently what i have been fighting.  it is called Valley Fever.  i cannot spell the name of it, but it is a fungal infection, and very much a parasite, that has taken over my body, and my life.  there is a test, and i cannot spell that one either, but Elisa may be close.  2x test, 10 days apart.  this is especially prevalent in windy, dry southern USA; it blows from the earth to spread itself.

i have spent a lot of money finding something that makes me feel better over the years.  oh, and antibiotics make a fungal infection even worse, as the good germs are gone and they can proliferate with out boundaries.  i wonder how you have got along for 6 years and still be alive!  your immune system is good enough, i guess, to fight back.  the fatigue is the worse.  people call me lazy; well, maybe, but most of my day is spent looking after myself, or sleeping all day after fighting this all night.  only lately have a felt better, and i can attribute that to herbal remedies i wish i had from the beginning.  i will list my best for you, but remember, this is a big bandage fix, not a cure, for there is none.

myrrh
clove oil
flea and tick shampoo
iodine, solution or tincture
Steve's Salve, search his store.  this one is the reason i am feeling better

the bottom line with this horrible disease, is to do what it takes to feel better.  if not, your money was wasted.  second thing, no sugar.  stop now.  it is the thing that causes your system to be up and down.  i have to have some sugar; once a day i have a chocolate milk i mix myself.  this always after taking my routine meds.  they say no milk, but i cannot do that.  no junk food at all.  i am not going to tell you to become a vegetarian, or some other diet, just clean up what you eat now.  no potatoes, they love em!

i have the bulk of my problem in my head.  i believe i am growing a fungal ball in my sinus.  look this up if your sinus hurts worse each day.  so this thing sends out tendril tubes that grow long and invade everything.  i have a spot above my ear. that i have to work on a lot.  the ear was my first symptom area.  it is everywhere, and i mean everywhere at this point.  but above the ear i use Steve's Salve and the tendrils come to the surface somehow.  i pull them out with my finger nails.  i cannot see the area, but tweezers should be used.  if you have a red dot or a big sore, you have to remove what is inside there.  it only gets larger and sorer.  your throat is a hard place to reach to remove them.  but, clove oil or myrrh drops in your mouth wash and swish back and forth as far as you can go with out gagging and for as long as you can do it.  you will need to stay close to bathroom, because things come out.  never swallow this stuff.  could be why your gut complains.  probiotics are needed.

here is something i want you to do, gross or not.  after a bowel movement, close the toilet lid and leave it sit for 3 hours.  take a tool, i use a knitting needle, and swish that stuff around.  you should be sitting down, because the shock may knock ya over.  you will see how much mucous/candida/cocci is really there inside you.  take a natural laxative called senokot and keep it moving on out!

please, ask me anything.  if i do not know the answer, i have a women, who has had this for 10 years, to ask.  to me she is the expert, but she disagrees.

mary
Interesting but that doesn't sound like my issue. I wish you all the best.
every person has different symptoms for this disease.  if you keep saying ''i am so tired', it is worth looking into it.  especially if you live in a rural area.
