Sudden partial loss of hearing ++

Hi,
I have a feeling of pressure in both ears, reduction in hearing ability, numbness to to head and part of face on one side, high pitch bleeping in ears and deep inner ear pain. I feel tired much of the time also. This has been going on for 3+ weeks I have taken 2 different sets of antibiotics now with no impact also nasal spray (steroid). I am unable to pop my ears at all right from the start. I feel a little queezy but no dizziness. I had a barium swallow a couple of months back for a seperate throat problem, oesophageal webbing was detected however the radiologist said it 'didn't concern him' therefore my ent doc discharged me. Could this recent ear problems be related to this?? If not any ideas what is wrong with me. I am finding this extremely hard to cope with particularly the partial loss of hearing . My mood is all over the place at the minute, any help would be greatly appreciated .

43 yr old otherwise healthy female

Hello and hope you are doing well.

The condition needs proper evaluation. The cause could be an inner ear problem with your symptoms of tinnitus, dizziness and deafness. It could also be due to a middle ear infection. the symptoms may not be related to the procedure. I would recommend that you contact your primary care physician as you have multiple system complaints.  He or she might refer you to an ENT for further evaluation and treatment.  I would strongly caution you not to drive or operate heavy machinery while dizzy as you might injure yourself or others.

Hope this helped and do keep us posted.
