Hello and hope you are doing well.

There are tubes called 'Eustachian  tubes' which connect the middle ear to the throat, this balances the air pressure in the ears. If there are changes in pressure like while swallowing or coughing or sneezing the pressure can be transmitted, leading to a vibration of the ear drum.

Hope this helped and do keep us posted.

Hello and hope you are doing well.

Yes, the tubes transmit air from the throat to the ears as we swallow. This can cause a vibration of the ear drums. Sometimes your symptoms could be due to eustachian tube dysfunction. Check with your doctor to rule out this condition.

Hope this helped and do keep us posted.
