something stuck in my throat

Hello, I am a 24 year old female who is very active in good fitness and eat healthy. I have been having a feeling like there is something stuck at the front of my throat right above where my collar bone meet. I also feel like I have a very dry throat like when you sleep with our mouth open. these sensations are causing me to have a very uncomfortable throat and also hard time breathing. I have had this problem on and off for two years now, when i first had this problem i had my lungs and heart checked out and everything was fine. I had a bad sinus infection and the doctor told me that could be causing the sensation and after taking antibiotics, nothing changed. I am freaking out because I'm thinking this might be caner because i have smoked over 5 years. Please if you have idea of what this could be let me know because i need that piece of mind until i see a doctor. Also I do have mucus coming out sometimes clear and sometimes green.
Thank you for your time

There are many reasons why a throat can feel that way.
Acid reflux/GERD is one.
Post nasal drip can cause that feeling as well.
For PND you could try a sinus rinse before bed and using a humidifier...if it helps then it's probably PND.

Anxiety/depression can cause this feeling.

Problems with the esophagus can also cause this feeling.

Coughing up phlegm is usually a sign of COPD, smoker's cough, lung infection, asthma, PND, etc.
Stress ( which is generally related to anxiety/depression ) can cause the throat to tighten as well.
