Help please?Ocular Herpes? Herpes Keratitis??

Hi, recently i was exposed to type 1 herpes when i rubbed my eye after touching the outbreak (stupid i know). Ever since then i have been having pain behind my eyes, intermittent foggy vision, and kind of a dry burning feeling. This has been going on for about a month and ive been taking acyclovir just in case for about 2 weeks now also. I have been to two primary care doctors, 3 optomotrists, and 2 opthamologists and none have said that they see any problems with my eyes including herpes. I know that something is wrong and it seems like too much of a coincidence that these problems just so happened to start right after the exposure. Please somebody help if anybody knows what it could be, i have been very scared and worried and it would really help me to be reassured or informed about what this could be.

I did see a corneal specialist and he said that my eye was clear of herpes. Could it just be settling in the nerves in my eye and it hasnt reached the surface yet?

I spoke to one of my colleagues who is a corneal and external disease specialist.  He said without an outbreak you will not see anything in the eye.

What dose of acyclovir are you taking?
