Oral herpes

My partner of 27 years sometimes gets oral herpes . Well tonight during our "private time" I accidentally touched my eye and I am thinking if I also have it (with no symptoms how can I now I haven't transmitted it in my eye for instance?? ) Are there any symptoms besides watery and blurry eyes whxiyI have already cause of allergies

If herpes simplex type 1 or 2 was introduced into the eye it would take about 24-48 hrs for the characteristic "corneal dendrite' to develop.  So if the eye gets red, painful, blurry, sensitive to light see an ophthalmologist for a biomicroscopic exam.  If your partner has type 1 H Simplex (non-venereal) but does not have an active sore in the mouth or lips the chances are very low you will get it.
