Retinal question for Dr. O.

Hello, me again, today I had to brake a little harder with my car, and I could feel, lets say, a little preasure, I didn't hit my had on anything, and didn't crash with my car, but I'm concerned about that little forces when braking... I'm now 73 days from my retinal surgery, silicon oil is in my eye, can that harder braking with car be risky for retina to detach again after two months?

Thank you.
Robert

To answer your original question: NO, the braking of your car shouldn't have harmed your retina.

To answer your second question:
Dr. Hagan & Dr. O. split their time in answering the questions on this forum.

Dr. Hagan answers on odd dates and Dr. O. answers on even dates.

So if you want Dr. O. to answer you're question post again tomorrow, which is an even date (the 30th).

thank you for your answer, I didn't know what even date means, my native language is not english, so I hope you understan... :)

I hope Dr. O. will see this and answer it..

It's tough for me now, I wish I could know all the things that I could do, like, I'm affraid to run from one side of the street to another, because I think the retina will detach, I'm affraid to go to the crowd because of the fear that someone will accidentally hit me in head... yesterday it was that hard braking, so my head was going a little toward the windshield...
I saw that Dr. O. sugest's his patient's not to lift over 20 lbs, I want to know, how many months need's to pass for the one to lift over 20 lbs...

Thank you
Robert
