caruncula infection due to chemical irritation, also dry eye syndrome, with no signs of tears..

a small bit of toothpast contianing active salt and blue pigment  had fallen in to my eye. already my right eye has faced lot of irritation due to chemicals like methanol, and mild perfume, eucalytpus oil etc.

my inner sclera (near the nose region )is irritated, but no bright redness. but i could see some blood vessels mildly. BUT ONE THING I COULD NOTICE CARUNCULA REGION HAS TURNED BROWN,INSTEAD OF THE NORMAL PINK COLOUR. the region around that part, has become so so dry. they totally lack tears.any problem could have occured in the tear glads? i also have some mildly swollen eyelids.
COULD IT HAVE CAUSED CORNEAL ABRASION? please suggest some remedial action. i made some warm compresses.

The caruncle would not turn color due to dryness. Most important thing be sure the eye is rinsed out well with saline eye wash and artifical tears. Corneal abrasions are usually very painful. IF you are getting worse go to see an Eye MD ophththalmologist

I ALSO FEEL MY INNER RIGHT EYE REGION(NEAR NOSE) TENSE AND BOTHERING WHEN I LASH MY EYELIDS EVEN THOUGH IT HAD OCCURED TWO DAYS AGO. BUT THERE IS NO PAIN PREDOMINTANTLY TO BE CONCERNED.
