hypotony after silicone oil removal

i had undergone 4 surgical procedures in my right eye after i was diagnosed with retinal detachment in 2005 october.
i had inferotemporal RD with macula off.scleral buckling was done in oct 2005.ther was no improvement. field was normal-on temporal side but nasal nd central portion remained wavy nd blurred.after n year scanning was done in dec 2006 nd was found that ther is still some fluid under the retina.my doc adviced another surgery(silicone oil injection).silicone oil was injected into my eye in june2008.again a waiting of one year was given.vision remained the same and there was slight diplopia.in oct 2009 the oil was removed and i was adviced to take complete rest for a week.but after around 5 days my vision began to go bad, a brown curtain began falling from above nd coverd almost three fourth of the field.i went to my doctor nd doctor said there was inflammation of retinal blood vessels nd was prescribed prednisolone tablets for  3 weeks along with regular drops.even after 3 weeks vision remained same.i can only detect movements of hand under good lighting but before i could count fingers a feet away.on nov25 2009 i went to see my doctor, said that there was inadequate fluid formation due to ciliary body malfunction.my eyeball felt soft when compared to my left eye.she said there was a chance that my eye may shrink nd adviced silicone oil reinjection.so again a surgery was done to reinject oil on 2 dec2009.she promised that i will regain my vision back to what i have before oil removal.up to today there was no vision improvement.my eyeball is still softer but its not as soft as before.still my right eye is very small nd shrunken as compared to the left. i was just out of my teenage nd was getting frustrated nd feel doomed.so is there any chance my eyeball regain its original size??  is there any chance that i get back my vision atleast to finger counting level???

Silicone oil is your only option if you are going into hypotony (low pressure).

thanks for replying ..ofcourse my best option will be to take care of my good eye.it will be great if i have my right eye as well to support my field of vision nd to maintain it for aesthetic reason.
is it possible that my shrunken eye regain its original size nd shape?

Any doctor who examines you at this point would say that your prognosis is guarded. After so many surgeries sometimes the eye does indeed experience chronic hypotony and it may stay hypotonic. With the oil retained in your eye it may help the IOP, a little. As far as the vision goes your eye needs plenty of time to heal. It may regain vision that was lost over a period of a year or more, but it may not. Again, theprognosis for such a complex case as your is extremely guarded.

Your best option now is to protect your good eye.
