Anyone starting IVF Jan/Feb 2009?

I am on a break after we canceled my 2nd IVF due to low follie count, I am taking BCP and DHEA for 2 months and then trying again. Just wondering if anyone else is on a break in between or just starting first one in Jan/Feb 2009. We can pass the time, while we wait.

I wanted to wish good luck to everyone!!!
I just found out this morning that my retrieval will be on Wednesday and I am so nervous.  Has anyone else had to ****** several time before their retrieval?

Well, I went back for follow up u/s and blood work today.  My RE actually did my u/s.  He said I'm not where he would like for me to be at this point in my cycle. He also said we'd have to take a look at my blood work.  Thank God (many thanks and prayers) my E2 level went up to 492.  So, he's going to keep me at my current meds (which were increased on Friday) and he wants to see me again on Tuesday.  I sure hope things keep going up.  I'm so nervous about it.  I was certain on the way home from the doctor that it would be another cancelled cycle.  Everyone keep me in your prayers....this is such a frustrating thing....TTC!!!!  Much luck and prayers to everyone in their cycles!!!

I am looking into a different RE since I only talk to the nurses at this one...never the doctor. The nurse told me I could make an appointment to talk to him. I know he would rather me make an appointment to talk to him instead of on the phone because he gets paid by insurance if I go into the office! Right now I am taking a month or two and trying some chinese herbs and maybe accupuncture to see if that helps. Good luck to everyone!  Andrea

I went in for follow up this morning!!!  My E2 went up to 237.  Which is good, they said. I"m not so sure.  It's hard to get excited about it.  I'm sure everyone knows what I mean.  Anyway, my follies looked good.  I have about 8 that are 11-15mm.  So, he's uping my gonal-f to 150/day (doubling it).  I go back Sunday morning for another u/s.  The nurse said if I keep going like I am then my ER will be mid/late next week...either Wednesday or Thursday.  I was hoping for earlier in the week.  I feel bloated!!!  LOL!  Sorry...just had to throw that in!  Anyway...everyone keep praying we will all be preggers very soon!

Mikeal'smom-  Glad to hear that your DH's test are all complete.  I'll be interested to find out what your RE says!!!  Keep us in the loop!

I"m so sorry to hear about your cycle.  I know how devastating that is.  That happened to me last cycle (my first).  What is the plan for you now.  I know that time off will help your emotions, but did your RE have any suggestions?
