First IFV

So I completed my first IVF cycle.  They transfered three embryos this morning.  They only retrieved 4 eggs and they all had fertilized.  The embryos transferred:  one that is 8 cell and 2 that were 5 cell.  The R/E said that everything looks great!  lining, everything...

So I guess my question is this:  Does size matter when it comes to the embryos?

I have 2 weeks for the bloodwork and here I am already getting nervous!

well yes and no, they want the best possible when they put them in so they do like to put back blast if they can. There is a lot of ladies that got pregnant with 8 or less so it's really just the waiting game you have to play now. If it's going to happen it will happen and the best advice i can give you is try to  relax take care of yourself and distract your mind as much as you can. The 2ww still takes a long time but if you do your best not to stress your chances are higher for conceiving as stress can be a big factor. The best of luck to you and sending you lots of baby dust....

Thanks so much for the encouragement.  It IS so hard to keep the stress levels down, but keeping busy really helps!

We had 2 5-cell embryos and one 6 cell embryo and now we have a beautiful baby girl.  The way I see it, your chances are better than mine.
Good luck!
