things that mimic pancreatitis?

for years i have had a pain in my upper abdomin, just below the rib line, that radiates into my back...it comes and goes,,might be once a month, might be once a week.
it only last a few seconds,to a few minutes, and goes away,,almost feels like a cramp in my diaphram or something.
this has been going on for like 9 years now.
no weight loss,no throwing up.
i also have other gastric issues, some reflux, stomach gergling, stuff like that.
in the summer time,i had two unexplained bouts 1 month apart  where i got a fever/chilled, had severe stomach pain where it even hurt to the touch,/bloating..and severe diahreah where i was going like 20 times a day!!....no throwing up though.....went to hospital,,had ct scans with barrium swallow, iodine shot into vains with the ct scans to to check for cancers, enlargemnts, and arterys.
amalayes/lipase..full blood work, infectious stool test,.EVERYTHING CAME BACK NORMAL,AND LOOKED ALRIGHT ON BOTH CT SCANS!!.....NO ENLARGEMENT,ULCERS,STONES,,,NOTHING.
these bouts only lasted 1 1/2 days apiece...hant had them since, they said it was prob. acute gasteritis?
QUESTION,,,WHAT THE HECK ELCE BESIDES PANCREATITIS HAS THESE SYMPTOMS?
ESPECIALY THE PAIN BELOW RIBLINE THAT RADIATES TO MY BACK?

i had a "bought" the other week,,,the same kinda pain, then upper pressure, like i had bad gas or something, little change in bowel movement,,,then it goes away, and i might not get it for awhile.
usualy when you get it after eating,id say its got to be gallbladder .
i dont notice it after eating..and i eat everything from spicey mexican to pasta,to fried chicken,,and dont notice any patterns.
shure wish we could figure this out though, realy bugs me when its going on.

Well I wish somebody would give you a clear diagnosis so I'd know what was the matter with me! God bless you and heal you from head to toe.

I have the same pain. It seems to start about 1-2 hours after I eat. I have had colonoscopy and scope down the throat and echo on liver, kidneys ect.  Nothing. All blood tests are normal. This seems to come and go sometimes lasting a week or so.
My doc has me on prilosec which does not always help. The endo doc said the same thing as you, gastritis...hmmm. Mine lasts longer than a few minutes, tho.
