Goodguy, if you're taking meds for the depression/anxiety and the pain started after you started the meds, be sure to ask your doc if the discomfort could be from the medication. Not all meds 'agree' with each individual and it's sometimes necessary to vary medications.
Hi, yes sometimes the pain can be related to stress. Psychosomatic disorder is a disease which involves both mind and body. Psychosomatic symptoms refer to complaints such as stomach pains, headaches, dizziness and tiredness which are attributable to emotional causes, but without any structural changes in the body tissues. Peptic ulcers and IBS can occur due to psychological stress. And they cannot be detected by blood tests and ultrasonography. If your symptoms persist consult your doctor to rule out these conditions. Regards.
