Left lower back, side and abdomen pains

I'm 28, female with a history of steriod useage. I haven't had my period in 5 months but have not had a positive pregnancy. I've seen my OB and been given hormones to jump start my cycles. Yesturday morning I woke up with severe, intense sharp pains in my lower left back. The symptoms came in waves and lasted for several minutes making it hard to breath and flared up when I took deep breaths. This lasted all day. This morning when I woke my stomache was swollen and the pains had moved into my left side. I have had UTI like symptoms for the past week and urinated more than usual as well. As of today I can't lay on my right side because it causes intense pains on the left, if I push as to relieve poss gas pressure the symptoms flare up in short waves.
I currently have no fever, no unusual sweating and no discoloration of in my skin or eyes.

See your doctor, it sounds like it could be your kidneys.
