Upper abdomen discomfort

For the past few days I've had this very slight pressure / very mild if any pain, just below my sternum, at the top of my abdomen. It doesn't hurt, but if I push in on it I do feel a little discomfort. I also feel it when I take a deep breath. I've never had anything like this before, and I'm just curious what the possibilities are. I know it could possibly be ulcers, but that's about all I can come up with. I'm an active 25 year old male with no major health problems. Also, I feel it more when I'm standing that sitting. I haven't noticed any other conditions to go along with this stomach thing. ...just curious.

You should see your general practitioner if it lasts.  It could be you have gall bladder problems i.e. stones.
That was my first symptom.

hi, it could just be a temporary bout of acid overproduction, related a recent heavy meal or heavy drinking, if your condition lasts for two weeks or longer, then seek some test i;e helicobacter-pylori breathe test initially, if positive the your gp will recommened medication and further tests to determine extent of possible damage, cheers.
