doctor answer of possible? ANAL CUTS AND DISCOMFORT

hello
for abou a year and a half, i have had little "tears" in the anal area almost every time after using the bathroom. I dont feel like im particularly straining or anything, it seems to happens wether or not its soft of a bit harder.
These "cuts" are usually on the left side just above (at the top ) of the anus. Always in the same spot on the left side, although sometimes the skin cracks in my butt crack aswell.
Ive also noticed i sort of have a "bubble or fold" of skin in this area just above the anus.
Thsi problem seems to be getting progressively worse, not better. I never noticed any blood, but after i hop in teh shower and wash, it stings because there is broken skin.
I have been repeadedly tested negative for herpes by both blood and culture (4 type specific blood tests).
Im trying to get into a dermatologist but its hard because i can never get in when its bad.
Everytime this happens i panic about herpes as i have an anxiety disorder in regards to health.
Does anyone know if these are symptoms of anything like haemmorhoids, lichen sclerosis etc. I dont even think i know exactly what haemorrhoids look or feel like. i also notice that after a bowel movement, the whole area around my anus feels very hard- i notice this while washing- almost liek the anus muscle is very tense.
Im currently trying reterogesic.... will see how that goes.
If anyone has any suggestions on what it could be and most importantly how to make it stop happening and causing me discomfort, i would be most appreciative.
Thankyou

I had same issue. I was told not to clean myself so vigorously and wipe gentler... And now I'm fine.

You may want to check with a gastroenterologist. The issue could be small fissures, either related or unrelated to other gastrointestinal disorders. There are some prescription creams that can be used to help the issue if that is the problem.
