symptoms after 2 months

I had a stomach virus in early April and it is now late May and I still feel sick all the time.. plus im dizzy at random times and have no energy. I know a lot of people have had the same issues, but this is beginning to get depressing. im a very active social person who loves food!! and now its like all I do is survive the day at college come home and lay down. I cant keep doing this!! I thought I was getting better but guess not. im taking Prilosec (I think that's how you spell it) and it helps A LITTLE but I want to be normal again. HEEELLPPP!!!

i didn't take any antibiotics thought. and im trying the BRAT diet which seems to help some. I try to eat small amounts of yogurt at a time because its one of the foods that make me sick but I used to eat it all the time. im just scared that theirs something else wrong.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi, the main side effect of antibiotics is diarrhea and sometimes loss of appetite, this is because this medicine tends to kill the normally residing flora in the gut like lactobacillus acidophilus (good bacteria) that helps with digestion. This can result in diarrhea. Try to include yogurt in your diet as it is a probiotic which replaces lactobacillus acidophilus (good bacteria) that helps with digestion. And Prebiotics are nondigestible carbohydrates that act as food for probiotics. Probiotics are found in foods such as yogurt, while prebiotics are found in whole grains, bananas, onions, garlic, honey and artichokes. A combination of two in a healthy diet is beneficial. Try this. Regards.
