About 12 years ago I had my gallbladder removed. In 2007 a dull pain returned in the right area just below the ribs.
I was then diagnosed with breast cancer in May 2007, so didn't follow up with this problem as the discomfort left. I have now finished my chemo and herceptin treatment last December 2008 and the dull pain returned early March.
I noted on my last MRI it stated I had showers of gallstones and thought this must be the current problem, so how do I get rid of them or is there a special diet I should be on. My current medication is Arimidex for 5 years, caltrate for my bones and glucosamine for joints. I do not have high blood pressure or high colesterol. I am 61 yrs. and although my Mother didn't have gallstone problems, my Grandmother, Aunt and female cousin all did.
I do not see my Oncologist until June for a checkup and hope there is a simple solution to this persistant problem.
Please help.
