Pain in Left buttocks, hip, groin and down leg to my foot.

From time to time, I have Left buttocks, hip and left leg pain. Slightly, in my groin area, too. Been going on for a few years. It's not chronic but happens, at least, once every other month and lasts several days. I do a lot of walking at work (Mail man) and last week I stepped off a curb and fell. Pretty hard fall and the pain I was talking about has been aggravated ever since. Any ideas? Someone mentioned Sciatic nerve pain,  but I thought that was chronic. I would like to start back on my treadmill again, but not sure if its safe.

I think you nailed it. II'm scheduled to see doctor next week.  This past week there have been times where it, almost,  goes completely away. Today it came back full force. The longest I've ever had it was about 2 months once. Its only been 1 week this time, but feels like longer than that. Ill post updates as I get them.

Look up sciatic nerve.  It comes and goes as the nerve calms down.
