Breathing

I recently went to a water park and I unfortuanely drowned.  I swam to a near by floatation device, and now I am alright.  But everytime I take a deep breathe, the area underneath the right side of my ribs hurt.  A few friends have told me that drinking too much of the water at the park can cause pain, is this true, or is this problem more serious?  I have been experiencing this problem for 3 days now.  Can someone help??

See your Doctor ASAP. You might have aspirated some of the pool water in your lung. Drowned means you are now dead. I doubt you ment that term. Aspiration can cause an inflammation of the lungs with shortness of breath.
