hey
im not actually a doctor but i have experienced similar pain i went to a@e was sent home went to my gp in tears was sent home, i lay awake for 3 nights and four days in intolerable pain, tears and exhaustion, my partner said enough and phoned ambulance they gave me morphine and the first time in days i felt i could think at last, i did have all the tests done however scans, blood tests, camera down the throat and all came back clear, gall bladder fine no kidney stones.
i was sick continuously and could not eat i was in hospital for a week and 3 days on high pain relief and eventually it went away i was released with un diagnosed condition and further pain relief. so far no further pain but i do advice if she is in pain to go down that route i was dismissed by a@e and gp and finally got relief from the pain from my partner finally saying its to much.
if she is in so much pain do the same at least they can then relieve it for a while whilst they do tests and hopefully get results.
kay x all the best
It would assist us immensely in a possible diagnosis, if you mentioned exactly which part of the abdomen is affected.
Is it under her ribs on the right and radiating to the shoulder, very painful, could be gall bladder problems .
