Hi symptoms are unreliable for the use of hiv diagnosis. If you have symptoms after a negative conclusive test result, it means that your symptoms are due to something else other than hiv
Just reiterating that symptoms are NEVER used to diagnose HIV. Only tests. You tested negative in the time frame in which results are conclusive. You do not have HIV. Anxiety is keeping you from accepting this, however. Your choice is to see a doctor to diagnose whatever symptoms you are having's cause (and anxiety could be the reason) or to continue to fret over something ignoring facts. I'd personally go the route of working on your anxiety so that you can get on with your life.
Irrespective of the test generation, a negative at or post 42 days is conclusive.
On the test report, if it is not written"4th generation" test but written "Combo" or "Duo", and reported as Antibody and Antigen both, it is a 4th generation test, conclusive after 4 weeks or 28 days
Symptom seldom mean anything. Never judge your infection from the symptoms. Test is the only way to know our status conclusively and that's what you did. Trust your test results and move on with your life. Your 49 day HIV Duo test is conclusive.
