Do you need full penetration for HIV?
Hey, just a couple of quick questions, i read a lot that you need full penetration to get HIV, is that true? So basically the penis has to go all the way in the vagina to get HIV? Can you get HIV by rubbing the penis around the vagina and potentially having a small part of your tip in between the vaginal lips (5 seconds max)? Thanks.
There are only three ways to contract HIV:
1) UNPROTECTED insertive anal/vaginal sex with an HIV+ partner
2) Sharing drug works (IV needles) with an HIV+ person
3) An HIV+ woman to her unborn child

HIV is contracted from unprotected insertive vaginal intercourse with an HIV+ partner. Rubbing the penis around the vulva is not a risk.

That's good to hear, thank you for your answer! Just one more quick question, basically the only way of getting HIV from sex is by putting a decent amount of the penis in the vagina? (1 to 2 inches)
