I posted this but reason I am worried is I lost 6 pounds in past 15 days and today at day 34 from my exposure I am also having sore throat and my thrush has not gone...so I was worried and wanted to know about the test practicality. Please guide me about the 4 week antibody alone test whether you have seen a case like that
You don't have an HIV concern.
Thanks, but as a general question - have you seen cAse like the one I am asking above. I will not bother after this!
Thanks Teak, So weight loss has nothing todo with ARS or early HIV infection. Can anxiety be the cause of weight loss. I know you are saying there is no risk. Rapid HIV test at 4 week do you think is encouraging? And I should just move on with this...I highly appreciate your comments
For someone who has had a risk, you never did,an antibody test at 4 weeks is around 90% accurate. The sudden weight loss is from all the stress.Relax, you're safe.
Thanks a lot for the help...highly appreciate your comments...yes it's actually true, I am 24 hrs on Internet reading about symptoms and HIV which I killing me...and thrush, sore throat and sudden weight loss I would attribute to my anxiety...thanks all for the wonderful job you guys are doing...
Don't do it.Reading about Hiv symptoms just makes the situation worse and having worked with Hiv specialists they have stated many times that the only real symptom to take seriously is a very high fever around 2 to 4 weeks after infection.
Thanks for the info... Very high fever means more than 100 degree ?
