Cut in Barber

Hi,

I went to a barber shop.  The barber wanted to cut my nose hairs with scissors and I gave permission.  He accidentally pushed the scissors and scratched my nose.  My nose bled.  He cut someone else's nose hair before me, I'm not sure if it bled, but 20 minutes later, it happened to me.

Please help me, should I get the. Hiv test? Many thanks!

Did you have unprotected intercourse? NO
Did you share intravenous needles? NO

Therefore, you had no risk for HIV.  It does not matter what you add to this event - it will NEVER be a risk for HIV.

Nope, not a risk at all. First, the barber is likely a professional and like all barbers has a sterilization jar he puts things into. But regardless, you won't get hiv from shared scissors used for trimming nose hair. Air inactivates the virus and the scissors are exposed to air. The only risks for HIV are to have unprotected vaginal or anal sex or sharing IV needles to inject drugs. You had no risk and do not need to test.

Problem is, I'm pretty sure the barber didn't sterilize it! I'm sure he used another one before me.
That is why I said REGARDLESS meaning that does not matter. It is NOT a risk either way
The issue here is that it bleeds my noseā€¦
read what risks please. THOSE are the only risks. I will not answer again. NO RISK. Air inactivates the virus and the scissors are exposed to air prior to going up your nose. Your nostril is ALSO exposed to air. NO RISK
