Need Advice

I have an absolutely amazing boyfriend. We haven't had sex yet. Of any kind. He actually went and got a full std screening to ease my mind about things. I was in a bad relationship before, and now am kind of paranoid about having a sexual relationship. Anyways. He was tested for everything, and everything came back negative. His last relationship was about 2 months ago, and he did have unprotected sex with her. Now, this relationship lasted for over a year. I'm just a little concerned that it hadn't been a complete full three months since his last possible exposure. Is a two month test conclusive? Should I be concerned? We will not be having unprotected sex, but if I do have oral sex with him It will not be protected, either way, him giving to me, and me giving to him. Should I be worried about this? Help!?

Both of you go and get tested together before you ever decide to have unprotected vaginal or anal sex together.

Teak, we will not be having unprotected vaginal or anal sex anytime soon. Only unprotected oral. Do you think that a 2 month negative test is a good basis to go on? I was tested early this year, and havent had any exposures since. He was tested last week, and his last exposure was 2 months before the test.

You don't require testing, you have a conclusive result,he just has to follow up in another month to collect that fully conclusive result which will be negative.

But I mean is it really necessary? We will be just having unprotected oral sex and protected vaginal sex.

HIV is not transmitted by oral sex. You can have all the oral sex you like but testing would be the best way to go just in case you both have a heated situation and for get to think soundly.

He doesn't have his conclusive test result as of yet. I'm sorry that you were given incorrect information about by being told his 2 month test was conclusive being given incorrect information is irritating. .
