Does HIV transmit under these conditions?

Hi,

To make it short, I had sex with a prostitute (I don't know her medical condition) and these conditions occurred:

- I've put a condom beforehand, but I'm not sure if I put it properly. It was my first time, I just held the ring, put it on the top of my penis and rolled it all the way in. Is that the way it's done?

- During the intercourse there weren't any visible breaks in the condom, but could it have small holes or something that the disease go through?

- I had some of her vaginal fluids on my fingers (due to adjusting the condom). My fingers have small cuts in them since I tend to its nails/skin often. Does this increase the chances of transmitting HIV?

- She licked my testicles which I shaved earlier in the morning, so I thought might something could be transmitted through there?

I'm sure this sounds really stupid to you, but I'm really worried. Shall I test for HIV after a few months? how low/high are my chances of getting HIV if she was positive?

-covering the tip is the important part

-no little holes, when they fail, they fail catastrophically

-don't know enough to answer this one, i really doubt it, but someone else can tell you

-no, saliva doesn't transmit that virus

my opinion is that you had no risk in catching hiv from this encounter, zero, nada. but i'd test in a few months so you can totally be at ease and move on w/ no bothersome "what if's". take care.

Thanks guys.

Are you sure about the vaginal fluids thing?

It's been a week since the intercourse and now I'm starting to develop a flu. Do you think it's a syndrome of it? I'm so worried :(

i was in a similar situation with a prostitute.
i too had various symptoms. but i think its your body's reaction to the tremendous stress you put on yourself worrying about HIV.

for your own peace of mind do a 4th generation elisa HIV test at 6 weeks from you possible exposure. this result, i was told, is 99.8% accurate.

please if one or more experienced members or doctors can validate my comment, it would be appreciated.
