But how are we supposed to answer a question with no relevance? If you don't have a risk then any test is going to be conclusive. We don't recommend testing on no risk because of false positives.
PCR is not even a diagnostic test. An antibody test at 4 week would pick up 90% of infections, 8 weeks about 98% and 3 months conclusive...if you had a risk.
But try to remember you did not have a risk.
Please Teak/Lizzie/Moderator I jsut want a answer to that question.

It doesn't matter what test you took or when you took it- you were never at risk for HIV and never needed testing. You don't have an HIV concern.
I highly doubt your GP would give you the advice that you were HIGH RISK!
Could just please answer that my pcr or rapid test would show something if I was at risk? I am not cancer or drug patient
your gp doesnt have a clue about hiv transmission ! ! !
I just want to know that if if I did these tests would show an infection? My gp freaking me out. Sorry
there is no "off chance"
hiv is transmitted through...
unprotected vaginal / anal intercourse
sharing iv drug works

CLEARLY you can see that you had no risk.
