ER testing

Went to the ER and got blood work done for viruses. That’s what the nurse said and doctor. So my question is. Do the emergency room test for HIV if they’re doing blood work?

sb What was your risk that requires hiv testing?
Vaginal intercourse. Condom broke. No longer than 2 seconds. They said my blood work came back fine. I went to the ER to find out what’s wrong with me. Bc I didn’t feel good. But do they test for HIV as well as other viruses?  My white blood cells wasn’t high. The incident happened on June 18th. So if they say they are doing blood work to find out what’s wrong with me. Wouldn’t the ER nurse and doctor check that to?
No one but the hospital staff knows what they tested for. Next time, ask the person doing the test what it is for. You can take a duo test today or any other one after 3 months for a conclusive result.
