Got a sleeve of tattoos in china

I got a sleeve of tattoo in china, month later had chills, cough, swollen node and some knee pain. Doctor didn’t seem worried but was one of those budget doctors that gave me antibiotics for the node swell and then told me to buy a knee brace. Anyway at 82 days I got a rapid and it was negative. Who knows. Maybe hep? Or the rapid sucks.

In the history of this disease there has not even been a single case of HIV transmission through tattoo needles / process.

Practically, there is no risk mechanism because tattoo needles work on the initial layer of your skin, this is nothing near to injecting IV drugs in to your veins.

Your symptoms were unrelated to HIV ARS since there was no risk. Testing wasn't required, won't be required any further from this incident.

Oh I did t know this, thank you very much. I am no longer worried about the tattoo.

Unrelated last question- so if I did have some other sex exposer before 82 days would my rapid have ruled that/symptoms. I can’t think of anything else but nothing for 82  days for sure.  Thanks
That question was answered.
it was? Oh from the first guy. He didn’t sound sure, he “thinks” it maybe reliable.  Ok though, I don’t want to be annoying.
Yes, if you had a possible exposure of unprotected anal / vaginal or injecting drugs 82 days before testing and nothing in between it takes care of every thing.

Time to move on.

1) the test is reliable. There is no reason to doubt the test right? I think you dont have hiv
2) symptoms are unreliable in the diagnosis of hiv. And symptoms usually dont appear so late
