Do I have to get tested?

Hello Friends,
This feeling is driving me crazy, A Month ago i met a Girl at a bar with unknown HIV status, I was too drunk, we got a lil intimate and we started kissing (deep kissing) this went on for an hour, I dont know whether her gums were bleeding or her lips had cracks, I definitely had chapped lips at that time. at the end she gave me a handjob and I don't remember her having any cuts on her hand either. Its been a month now and I have fever,Cold and cough for the past 1 week. Was wondering if I had contracted anything, do I have to get tested for HIV ?

First place ....u never had an exposure and u r not in window period & no need for testing at all...!!
Unnecessarily don't freak out and test until 3 months. ..unfortunately if u get any false positive in between...that leads to screw up ur mind for further tests. ..!!
Move on and resume ur life without worries..u r hiv negative. ..

Hello Teak and hangon51,
Thank you for responding to my question. I started developing flu-like symptoms exactly 4 weeks after the incident. it started with fever, cold and cough, the fever subsided after a couple of days and I am still suffering with dry cough, its been more than 5 weeks and the cough still persists. As I have said earlier, I had chapped lips (bleeding) while I was kissing her and I am afraid I may have caught it.
