HIV worries and testing results

I admit to being filled with anxiety about HIV. In order to deal with this I have decided that testing and clinical results however unneeded are the best way for me to deal with the anxiety.

I have been told there is no risk of HIV from having someone finger your anus. While my  " brain" has heard these answers I can't seem to get my "gut" to gain this comfort. Too muc surfing the net:)

I went for a rapd response test (blood type) 27 days after the event and it was negative. I also have taken a DNA pcr combinded with an antibody test and am awaiting the results. I want to know if I can consider a negative result on these tests as conclusive proof I don't have HIV. In advance I will admit that I know many will say I had no risk to begin with. I am however looking for clinical evidence as a means to force my brain to stop with the anxiety.

Thanks in advance for helping me deal with the anxiety.

The internet can be very helpful if you learn to accept the facts and only read information that is based on facts not fiction. No one has ever contracted HIV from having a finger inserted in their anus in over 30 years of the HIV/AIDS epidemic.

I appreciate the work you guys do on this forum. I completely understand that anxiety is a separate issue from actual risk. It is however an issue that each person must attempt to find their personal way of dealing with. I intellectually understood you answer and don't expect a counseling session. To avoid anxiety I sought out a method I felt would help me. (ie testing). I am new to the std world and the Internet is not a good place for those with anxiety to be wandering. It is for this reason that I asked the question about testing. Can you please give me you opinion relating to my testing question. If my results are conclusive. No matter how unnecessary they may be they will serve to allow me to put this to rest for myself.  Thanks for your understanding.

Many say it's a zero risk situation because it is,you never had a risk and no further testing is required.
