Hypodermic needle thrown at me

I had an incident with a homeless well known junkie at my work place. I work in retail security and Saturday night this junkie came and stole something from my work. When I confronted him he throw a needle at me. Luckily the needle just scraped and made me bleed. My worry is had he just used that needle can contract HIV or Hep C ?

Regards

Not a risk for HIV.  Needles are only a risk if you use them to inject into your vein.  Any minor cut or scrape would  not allow HIV to enter your bloodstream and is ZERO risk for HIV.
